![]() ![]() The delay seems to appear between DS4Windows and the game. However the input delay seems to not be there in DS4 joystick preview screen. For a couple seconds after I click on the notification to pair the devices show up in device manager, but not under the joy. I tested it using GTA V, CS:GO (yes I play cs with a controller), Fortnite and multiple controller testing applications. ![]() Blinks about 3 times then connects instantly, disconnects in about a second or 2 Holding share and ps button doesn't initiate pairing, just tapping the ps button does Reset controller with a pin on back of controller Tried again in Bluetooth settings, same problem Removed all related devices in device manager (Bluetooth HID, Wireless controller, and Xbox 360 Peripherals) Updated Bluetooth drivers to current version Uninstalled Bluetooth drivers and manually installed an older version At one point it did randomly go back down to 3ms over BT but when I plugged it in to charge, it shot right back up to 15 and when going back to BT it wont go below 9.5ms. Removed controller from Bluetooth settings and tried setting it up from scratch Tried the 'Overclocking' of the polling rates, gone through settings multiple times turning off/on sending DS4 data to controller, disabling copycat. If the latency goes over 10ms (milliseconds), then that will be displayed in the Log section. Actually, I suspect some small damage in the cable, but also couldnt be sure what. I use the USB 3 port of Mac Mini and I use the built-in cable. If using a DS4 preset profile (not related to the real controller you are using) then there are no (Anti) Dead Zone configured and DS4Windows just directly repasses the real stick position to the virtual DS4 controller. I tried OBS, Ecamm Live and some others but the result is always the same. When I turn the controller on Windows says it's connected, then I get a notification to pair, I click on it, it says pair successful and the controller shuts off and is no longer connected. It works very well up to 2K resolution but when I want to have 4K, there becomes a huge latency (around 5 to 10 seconds). Im playing for a while, then, out of nowhere, the latency gets. I'd start my computer connect my controller to windows, then ds4windows would start up and connect and I'd be good to go with no issues. There are two things that helped me with this exact problem, as playing some doom eternal with this issue was about to drive me crazy.ġ- Go to DS4Windows then click-> Profiles -> Select whichever profile you use (Default for me)-> Click Other tab -> then at the bottom click on the dropdown called "DS4 BT Poll Rate:" and set it to Max(1 ms) (note that this may eat more battery life out of the controller)Ģ- in the same "Other "tab there is a checkbox called "Enable Output data to DS4" uncheck that Latency spikes over 10ms via bluetooth I use Bluetooth on my ds4 as there is less input delay, but sometimes the Bluetooth connection log will say ‘connection now over 10ms’.
